DIABETES

The estimated number of diabetes patients in the 20-79 age group is 11.8% in 2021.

As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India, over 36 percent of the respondents
who had diabetes in 2021 were above 60 years of age. Notably, almost four percent of respondents
in the 20 to 29 year old age bracket also reported to have diabetes that year.
